Pajama Sam: No Need To Hide App Reviews

This is a wonderful game for all ages, really. I especially like the game in the gold mine, Nuggets, that is found in one of the side tunnels while Sam is riding the rails. Anyway, after downloading to my iPad on iOS 8, the game crashed really bad the first time I tried to play it. The touch screen hardly worked and the screen went black. I had to force quit the app (push home button twice quickly to find your open apps, then close the one you want to quit) and then I relaunched it. The game is very responsibe now and hasnt crashed. Thank you for offering this game for iPad!

Nevermind, it turns out you cant grab the oars if they arent needed for your playthrough. Awesome game, tons of childhood nostalgia!

This is a great adventure game I sure I hope they make more available on the App Store.

They still havent fixed the oars

Almost beat the game and cant get to the oars from the chandelier! :( Ive tried everything and even restarting my phone. Wish this could be fixed.

I have played this game quite a bit of times and i have yet to get the mask in the dancing room. My favorite part was turning invisible but I cant do that. Please fix it.

This little gem was a big part of my childhood so many years ago, along with the sequel, "Thunder and Lightning Arent So Frightening". I didnt play the third game very extensively and wasnt as big a fan of it as I was of the first two, and I never played the fourth game. But this classic masterpiece holds up a lot better than one would expect. Re-playing Pajama Sam on newer PCs isnt as much of an immersive experience as it once was, as the game is very dated and its native resolution is extremely low. Its possible to stretch it to fill up more of the screen, but that makes the picture quality cry out in agony. There also arent any mods out there for it, as its not a particularly well known title. A remastered version of this game in high definition would be very welcome for the PC. But getting to the point, I have to say, whoever came up with the idea of porting this nostalgic trip to iOS is an absolute genius. It makes you feel like the game was intended for iOS devices. Playing it on my iPod Touch (5 or 6, not sure which gen it is) is a much nicer, more refined experience than on modern PCs. And the best part is, practically nothing has changed except the controls and interface. Its still the same game as it was back when it came out for PC and MAC in 1996 (the year I was born!), only its a little easier to navigate now. It also saves your progress when you exit the app which is something the PC version never did, as far as I know. It will surely satisfy anyone who grew up with the game as I did who are looking for a nice nostalgic kick, and its still a fantastic game for kids. I would even recommend it to any casual iOS gamer regardless of age. It is one of the most delightful journeys in gaming history that doesnt get anywhere near as much recognition as it deserves. I used to not be really into iOS games and have never before actually purchased an app that required money - until now. This phenomenal port has more than earned the $5 I paid for it. Ill see about purchasing Pajama Sam 2 sometime in the near future and might review that one too.

Im not just saying an expression its actually impossible so there is this thing called the brain tickler and its where you answer 4 questions and then you get past the door but the last question is based on the land of darkness and the question is what is the reading on the water meter in the mines near darkness house and you get to choose out of 4 answers and the four answers was I dont know and can I try again later and I dont think Ive ever been over there and beats me it is stupid dont get the app EVER!

Just as I remember it from my childhood, but I actually understood everything this time haha. Im not sure if this review will ever even be read, but my favorite Pajama Sam game used to be "You are what you eat, from your head to your feet." I would love to see that game turned into an app! Please look into this if possible

Frequently the hotspots dont work to select things and it seems to boot you back to the beginning every time you have to stop playing. Have restarted several games and find hotspots that worked previously dont work the next time (such as using the rope to get the board/ you cant select it. Dont bother purchasing, waste of money.

The game is broken I cant press the sock and clothes dresser and it wont open and there is a sock glitch!!! Fix the game! Its really broken humongous intertainment fix everything in the game! Game from 1996-2015

I love this game but holy crap, even if I reset the story, I can never get the mask to go into the furniture room. Some people get angry at the mask in the furniture room, but I love it. Im just so angry that I can never get it!!!!

I played through the game and once I got through the doors of knowledge the game crashed and I was forced to restart the entire game. This happened 3 times. If your going to bring back a game and bring it back to mobile status make sure it actually works. This has happened on 3 of your games Ive bought from you now.

Pajama Sam was my all time favorite game as a kid. He is a great and well developed character, and the surreal atmosphere really appealed to my imagination. When I saw it had been released as an app I almost started crying with joy, it had been so long. And the app is just like the original I had as a 6 year old !!! Thank you so much for reviving Pajama Sam, this game was super formative in my childhood.
